Towards the tail end of 2016, we worked with a small business in the beauty and wellness industry, with no product inventory, little start-up capital, a sales funnel (a marketing system that converts prospect into clients) and was able to generate over 1.4 million naira ($4000) in sales revenue under 60 days.
The above was made possible, because the owner leveraged on the power of the internet to reach and connect with customers across the 36 states of the country. It’s also interesting to know the business started with no product inventory, no office space and with a little capital.
The internet can serve as a virtual business space (an online office where potential and existing customers can contact and transact business with each other without any direct physical contact).
It is cyberspace where almost every business offline can be replicated online, unlike having an offline business where you need huge start-up capital to set up, employing staffs, getting an office space etc.
